My Big Announcement

I am very sad to announce that this will be my last season in Atlanta. I will be moving back home to Denver at the end of 2008. The city of Atlanta has been very good to me and I will miss all of my brides. You have no idea how hard it is to leave all of the friends I have made here. I started my company in Atlanta and everyone welcomed me with open arms.

Jasmine Star

Being new in the wedding photography business, I have looked up to a few wedding photographers for inspiration. Two of them of course are my close friends Lindsey and Jonie for LJ Photography. Another is a photographer from California, David Jay. Earlier this year he had a posting about a friend of his Jasmine Star. Her work has change the way I look at my own photography. To see her work stand up to the best men in this business gives me so much drive to do better. Well, Lindsey and I emailed her. I never in a million years thought she would email back, but she did. Family Photo's

For those of you who don't know, this has been a very big year for me. Not just in my professional life, but at home. My husband and I had out first child in February. Her name is Poppy and she has been the biggest blessing in my life. I never knew how happy I could really be until she was born. I decided to share some of her picture's with you. Most were taken by me, but not all. Remember, these are not all professional. Yes, even professional photographers have normal home photos. I can not believe my little girl will be 1 next month. The first few were taken today and they go down to the day she left the hospital.

Bridal Show

I know that it has been more than a month since my last blog. I have been busy with a bridal show on top of my normal work load.
